THE CARE

We value the personal care we provide every horse and horse owner that reside here. For more than 25 years our knowledgeable, friendly, committed and hardworking team and family have been managing and improving the boarding facility and have enjoyed getting to know many horses and people. Our primary focus is to provide a home where horses can be their happiest and healthiest. We have a holistic and natural centered approach to the care we give and we believe in the concept that healthy soil creates healthy pasture which results in healthy horses. We believe in being good stewards of the land and are actively improving the land and property for the well being of all life.

“We moved our horses down valley from Aspen to Cedar Ridge, a little anxious about having them further away and uncertain how they would adjust to their new home. It was the best decision we could have made! Cedar Ridge allows for riders to have a more personal experience with their horse. There is never a crowd, but I always feel the horses are extremely well monitored and that if an emergency did arise, that help is just minutes away at any time. The above has been a contributing factor to being able to redevelop a closer bond with both of my horses. I also attribute this to a calm, natural environment as well as Merrill’s approach to training. They have moved to a natural diet, off previous unnecessary supplements, are better mannered and enjoy the company of others. They are well cared for and loved. We could quickly tell that they genuinely like and feel welcome at their new home. They are also better mannered around each other and are calmer and happier all around. I love driving to Cedar Ridge. It’s absolutely beautiful, and it would be a fantastic place to have a special event or spend some much needed getaway time. ”
