RANCH RIDING CAMP!
Welcome to our immersive riding camp at Cedar Ridge Ranch, where kids embark on an exciting
journey to learn all about horses from A to Z. Through hands-on experiences, our campers learn
horse behavior, care, handling, and riding techniques, fostering a strong foundation and
relationship with these magnificent animals.
Our camp curriculum is designed to allow campers to develop practical skills and gain valuable
knowledge of equine care and management. From grooming and tacking to riding and
horsemanship exercises, every aspect of the camp is tailored to grow your child’s understanding
and appreciation of horses.
In addition to horse-related activities, campers enjoy engaging in ranch-themed craft
projects, including alpaca fiber felting and learning about other livestock on the property. With
a maximum of 10 campers per day, our camp maintains an intimate setting, ensuring
personalized attention and a supportive learning environment for your child.
We are honored to collaborate with special guests and experienced instructors, including
professional Barrel Racer and founder of Equine Connections, Dani Brownell, and Mental Health
Counselor and rider Liz Edwards. Their experience and insight offer campers a unique
opportunity to learn from industry professionals.
